I like this idea especially if the re spawns move moons around a bit so that poor space may grow richer for a while then start to taper off the opposite of rich space which would see decline as the moons rotated

I think distress call events would be a good addition to the game. The loot could be balanced and a lot of different types of these events could be added by just creating new variables.
